Quem caminhar pela rua Vicente Racioppi, logo depois da pracinha da esquina, verá que o vazio cavado no volume edificado dessa instigante casaassimétrica (construida em 1995), não interrompe a sequência de cenários e captura a vista da cidade e o pôr do sol daquele belo horizonte. A casa acontece em três níveis básicos. O acesso principal, que fica ao nível da rua, faz a conexão direta com a cidade: o abrigo dos automoveis, a biblioteca/escritório, o quarto de hóspedes e um sanitário social. A conexão com a praçinha se faz através de um acesso secundário aproveitando o desnível natural do terreno. No andar inferior, estão os espaços de sociabilidade, com a piscina, salão de jogos, as salas de estar e jantar integradas com a cozinha americana, além dos setores complementares de serviço e apoio operacional. No andar superior, acima do nível da rua, estão os espaços íntimos da família: os dormitórios, uma mini-cozinha para lanches, e uma sala multiuso onde se pode, novamente, descortinar a vista da cidade , exposta sem exagero, para que permaneça como uma conquista diária. No quarto e último nivel - o sótão, que se expande em baixo do telhado: de um lado fica um espaço-refúgio (para reflexões e estudos), do outro um varandão (onde o cenário urbano reaparece generosamente). Vale dizer que todos os níveis internos se comunicam verticalmente, gerando um pé-direito de 12 metros no vão das escadas que estão dimensionadas com diferentes larguras e revestimentos de piso, conforme a hierarquia dos níveis que atendem. Três portais internos, inseridos em diagonais e especificamente detalhados, marcam as transicões rua/casa (portal entrada principal), casa/lote (portal sala-estar), social/ privado( portal corredor dormitórios). O sistema estrutural em concreto armado mistura soluções convencionais e de alta complexidade, como no módulo treliçado atirantado ao corpo principal da construção e também no balanço da extremidade frontal esquerda, que configura um vazio no nível térreo da massa volumérica dominante. Infelizmente, a casa foi vendida e bastante descaracterizada pelos novos proprietários. :-( Desculpem
Whoever walks along Vicente Racioppi Street, just after the small public square on the corner, will see that the void made in the volume of this inciting asymmetric house (built in 1995), doesn't interrupt the sequence of settings and captures the view of the city landscape far bellow. The house happens in three basic levels. The main access, that is located on the street level, connects the house directly to the city: the garage, the library/office, the guest room and the restroom. A secondary access connects the level 3 meters bellow the street with the public square taking the local natural unevenness into account, there are socializing spaces, with a swimming pool, a recreation room, the living and dining rooms integrated with the a main kitchen, as well as the complimentary service sector. On the first level above the street, there are the family private rooms: bedrooms, a small kitchen for snacks, and a multifunctional room where the view of the city, which is not so exposed elsewhere, can now be fully enjoyed. On the second level above the street, the attic opens itself under the roof: on one side there is a more private space (for thinking and studying), on the other, a big veranda (where the urban scenery shows itself again generously). It is worth saying that all four internal levels communicate with each other vertically, producing a twelve-metre floor-ceiling height in the staircase span. The three different staircase widths and flooring materials, are based on the hierarchy of the floor that the staircase levels are related to. Three internal porches, diagonally inserted and detailed with particularities, sign the transition street/house (main entrance archway), house/plot (living room archway), public/private (corridor/bedrooms archway). The structural system, in reinforced concrete, mixes conventional solutions with highly elaborated ones. This is the case of the left frontal cantilever void and the tie rod trussed block pending from the main body of the construction.
